The X Workshop "Companies, Business People and Society" took place at the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul on November 9-11. Prof. Marina de Souza Sartore (Federal University of Sergipe), leader of the LEMOS-UFS and  Prof. Marcelo Carneiro (Federal University of Maranhão) coordenated together the session "Companies, Markets and Society". The Workshop gathers scholars from sociology, anthropology, political sciences, economics and business whose researches explore the relation between the world of organizations (and those behind them) and society. It takes place every two years and in 2016, it celebrates its 10th edition. Congratulations to all scholars involved in this inspiring meeting. All papers discussed can be downloaded from the X WEES website (in portuguese).
